Earn, use and exchange points with SAS EuroBonus

You can link your EuroBonus and Scandic Friends accounts if you're a member of both programs and have been in at least one of them for 30 days. Both accounts must be active, and your membership details need to match in both programs. Keep in mind that each EuroBonus account can only be linked to one Scandic Friends account, and that members need to be 18 years of age to be eligible.

Yes! You can request to unlink your accounts from the SAS EuroBonus tab in My Pages. And if you close one of your accounts, it will automatically be unlinked from the other.

If you have reached Level 4 and above in Scandic Friends or Silver level and above in EuroBonus, you might be eligible to upgrade your level to the equivalent level in the other program*. Scandic Friends Levels 1, 2 and 3, and EuroBonus standard members are not eligible to upgrade their level. *Please note that only Scandic Friends members who have reached the program requirements for that level are eligible to upgrade their EuroBonus level.

When you link your accounts, your levels will be automatically matched if you are eligible for an upgrade.

If your EuroBonus level qualifies you for an upgrade in Scandic Friends, you will receive all benefits associated with that Scandic Friends level without exceptions. For Scandic Friends members upgraded in EuroBonus, those upgraded to EuroBonus Silver will enjoy all Silver-level benefits, while those upgraded to EuroBonus Gold or Diamond will receive all level benefits except for the 'Give away membership' benefit.

No, you need to earn your level in each program independently. You can't accumulate your level-earning points from both programs. 

When you match your memberships and upgrade your level in EuroBonus, your membership level expiry date will match that of your membership level at Scandic Friends. Please note that your qualification period to meet the Scandic Friends or EuroBonus level requirements will remain unchanged even if you upgrade your level by matching accounts. Only the membership level expiry date will be affected.

Scandic Friends level upgraded from EuroBonus: Initially, you'll need to manually request to re-match your level if you upgrade or renew your EuroBonus level. EuroBonus level upgraded from Scandic Friends: Once your accounts are linked, your EuroBonus level will automatically be updated if you upgrade or renew your membership level in Scandic Friends.

If you are downgraded in one program at your level expiry date and had an upgrade of your level in the second program, then you will also be downgraded in the second program accordingly.

If your membership level is upgraded through level matching and during this period you reach the requirements for that same level during your qualification period, then you will enjoy the level benefits and expiry date according to regular Scandic Friends or EuroBonus rules.

Before the release of point exchange across Scandic Friends and EuroBonus, you can convert your Scandic Friends points to EuroBonus points during your stay. That's 500 EuroBonus points for each qualifying night you spend with us. Don't forget to show us your EuroBonus card at check-in.
